How many cups of tea can I get from 1 oz?
Each tea has different volume and concentration levels. Some teas are very concentrated and not very voluminous, like the Rooibos teas. Some herbal teas are very voluminous, but also require more quantity to brew well. So if that doesn't make any sense to you, then check out the tea descriptions on our website. Each one has an approximate amount of cups per oz that each tea will make.

How do I make Iced tea?
For iced tea use double of what you will usually brew for hot tea. Then pour it in a pitcher with the same amount of ice. You can also mash the leaves with a wooden spoon and then cool it for a day if you don't want to brew it.

How much does shipping cost?
We use the latest shipping fees on USPS. We try to save costs on shipping and since it's a small company we prepare the shipping without adding any handling costs to your order. Is that sweet of us? What you see for shipping is just the cost of USPS delivery. AND YOU GET FREE Shipping on orders of $35.00 or more for US and Canada.

Do you ship International?
Of course! We ship to all people, wherever you may be, using USPS.

Can I be allergic to any of your teas?
All my teas and herbs I use are pretty safe. As a precaution please consult your doctor before you consume any herbal products you think you are allergic to or if you are taking any medication. Each tea blend lists every ingredient it contains in the product detail in this site and in the bag it is packaged.

How is the tea packaged?
Great question. The tea is packaged entirely with compostable materials and stamped by my own two hands. We use good ol' paper bags for the tea, and a corrugated box for shipping. We make a big effort to use recycled, compostable materials and we work everyday to develop and design more sustainable ways to package and reduce waste.

Can I return or exchange tea?
We only reimburse you if your tea arrives to your house in bad condition, due to problems with shipping or any other quality problems. However we are always open to hear you. Please send an e-mail to shopmyteashelf [dot] com and express your concern 25 days within the time of purchase.

How can I cancel or modify an order placed online?
Please send and e-mail to shopmyteashelf [dot] com within 24 hours of placing your order and we can take care of it.
